FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE / PRURGENT
Incline Village, NV — Paper Ghosts follows Luke Sullivan, a popular film and TV personality, as he abandons the reassuring media hubbub of New York City and heads inland to rural West Virginia, where he attempts – with very little luck – to create a new life for himself.
“I like the idea of a character who is tapped in with social media and checks his phone every two minutes getting relocated to the boondocks,” Restaino says. “Once he finds himself in the deep forest, he looks up from his devices and realizes how terrifying and mysterious the world around him actually is.”
Mike worked as an entertainment journalist for a decade before becoming an artist full-time. His debut film Better Than Crazy was released by Continuum Motion Pictures in 2015. His nonfiction book Catching the Big One and Letting It Go – about the final live performances of Neil Young & Crazy Horse – comes out in late 2018, and he has an untitled murder mystery slated for release in 2019.
Restaino will be staging book signings and readings throughout the United States through the summer of 2018. For dates and times, contact Buenos Tiempos at (775) 298-6571 or firstname.lastname@example.org and follow Mike and the novel on Facebook and Instagram.
