CINEMATOGRAPHER, EDITOR, PRODUCER
A jack of all trades, Thaddeus Homan is a proven talent as an editor, a cinematographer, and director in his own right. In addition to shooting and cutting Better Than Crazy, Thaddeus has directed a music video for Chuck Prophet (“White Night, Big City”), edited and produced the acclaimed documentary The Harvey Girls: Opportunity Bound, and participated in various capacities in a vast array of other video projects.
Matt Gray directed Tear the Whole Thing Down, a concert film about Joe Getty & The Dead Flowers, as well as the extraordinary long-form documentary Bulldogs. He is currently in post-production on a new dramatic short film, A Special Place. He acted as chief videographer during Better Than Crazy‘s principal photography, and also wrote and directed Behind the Crazy, a short documentary on the film.
BONE COOTES and
Bone Cootes is a San Francisco-based singer/songwriter who played slide guitar on Better Than Crazy‘s score, which was written by Smokey Coloma, one of North Lake Tahoe’s most mysterious troubadours. Smokey and his backing band, the Cougar Fighters, are currently on tour in western Norway, last time anybody heard. Smokey and his band, though, contributed music for Matt Gray’s excellent new short film A Special Place, so who knows…?
Mike is a writer and filmmaker who has a novel (Paper Ghosts), a short non-fiction book about Neil Young & Crazy Horse (Catching the Big One And Letting It Go), and a new film (Copy Zero) all slated for release in 2016.
